This was entertaining, he spent the entire time dodging the serious questions. When asked about the Holocaust he refused to say that it had existed. Instead, he rambled on about it needing to be studied further, saying that it’s the same as any other science and should be studied forever. We all know Hitler deserves the respect; research further to find a way to justify his murders. When the topic about killing gays came up I was amused to hear his response; “gays do not exist in Iran”. What does it take to get booed by a group of college students? Just insult gays, that’s all it takes. You can deny the Holocaust and say it needs further study but if you say you don’t have gays in your country you will be booed!
What did we learn today? Not very much at all. We did learn that Iran doesn’t want nukes, doesn’t have gays and it is not a crime to be a woman in Iran. So, cross that off your list, if you thought otherwise you were wrong. One thing is for sure, we have gained absolutely nothing here. He sat and spewed propaganda that he will use to replay in his own country. He doesn’t fool me, I know his hate and I am not stupid enough to believe his garbage. Hats off to the President of CSU, Bollinger, for giving him the tough questions, even though he dodged almost every one.
People are happy, excited and even exuberated. They think that the discussion is done and over, but it’s not. It will be chopped and replayed in his home country. In America you can do the same thing but those people will believe what ever they alter. They will show us as stupid, unscientific and hateful. We have nothing to gain from speaking to terrorists; he has surely won a victory in the public relations department today.
He spent the time answering questions with questions. He filled enough of the time with his own questions so that they can be chopped up and rearranged for his own use. Don’t people know how propaganda works? You won’t hear the tough questions in Iran, you will hear the stupid Americans bashing the President of Iran. We will see the backlash, I am predicting it now and won’t be surprised when I see it. Today’s event is simply one more reason for the Iranian people to hate us. People will never learn, then again that’s obvious for anyone who still voted Democrat.
