Californians for Population Stabilization released a study claiming there are 20 million to 38 million illegal immigrants in America, not the 12 million the federal government says. Revealing that the illegal immigration problem in this country may be worse than first thought. The problem in my eyes is not only the illegals in the country it is also those that are undocumented and practically invisible to the system and free to do as they wish. Considering that most illegal immigrants are of low class status it’s no doubt the welfare system and other government institutions are being heavily burdened by non-tax-paying citizens.

A recent DesMoinesRegister poll shows that Huckabee has gained 8% since the last poll was taken in May. Mike is currently leading Giuliani who has 11% while Huckabee  has 12%. Interestingly a lot of the candidates’ numbers have also changes dramatically and not for the better. Fred Thompson, who is new to the race, starts off well with 18%. It’s a notable number considering he wasn’t even in the May poll. Brownback, Giuliani and McCain all took dives in the most recent poll with McCain fairing the worst, failing from 18% in may to 7% in the latest poll. The results don’t say everything but they definitely reflect on those that have made overall progress and those that have slipped down the ladder in recent months.

Obama recently spoke at a church in South Carolina where he is going full force after Christians. Considering the lefts’ lack of faith it is not surprising that Obama is doing what he can to reach out to the religious. I don’t see anything wrong with that, if he can be sincere about it then by all means go ahead. The right doesn’t own religion, no one does. Your political affiliation doesn’t automatically tie you to any specific faith.29683 The problem that arises however is the fact that the left align themselves with political issues that contradict most faith. Abortion and gay marriage is not something most Christians would agree with, that doesn’t mean some wouldn’t align themselves with the left, on the contrary I’m sure there are many that do.

Free trade, foreign investment and taxes topped the talk among the nine Republican presidential candidates who gave Michigan voters the full court press Tuesday at an event that was Fred Thompson’s first foray into the debate scene since 1996.

Tuesday’s debate was the Republicans’ sixth get-together, and focused on economic issues in the state that has been behind the national average in jobs and growth. Michigan’s unemployment rate is nearly 3 points higher than the nation’s 4.6 percent.

Fred Thompson steps into the light and readies himself for the (question) firing squad. After Tonight, people will be a little clearer about where Fred stands, no more guessing, no more dancing around the lines. Fred has a lot to gain, a lot to lose, either way you look at it today’s debate is very important for Fred. Perhaps Fred will dance around all the questions or look to take the stage and answer them all with ease. I suppose we’ll find out. I hope for something entertaining, this debates can be boring when it’s the same old questions and the same old answers. Someone needs to make a mistake, a great answer or come dressed as a clown.

Nanci Pelosi has been receiving some of the treatment that Bush has been receiving for years. For the past five months, war activists have been parked outside of Nanci’s house. During a lunch meeting with reporters yesterday she basically called the activists a bunch of hippies. How does it feel Nanci? You’re doing what you can, you even agree with these people but the second you aren’t jumping through hoops they are camping out on your side walk. Some people live in a fairy tale world where war can be dissolved with hugs and good wishes. That’s not the case, you have to look at the reality we are facing and not your good willed dreams.

The issue has been raised several times, should teachers be allowed to carry guns? If you have a lawful citizen who is carrying a gun, and an event arises that someone unlawful is trying to harm others, you may see a tragedy dodged that could otherwise develop into a Columbine. If the states have laws allowing concealed weapons, allowing guns in government issues than I completely agree that it is a good idea. Virginia Tech was an example of a mad man with a gun who was left to kill as he pleased. No one could stop him, how could they? I guarantee if there was several teachers with weapons the event would have played out differently.

So, Ann is stirring up the web with her latest controversial remarks about Jews, I was going to defend her but when I went to see her site I saw an article titled "FRED SAWYER AND HUCKABEE FINN". Needless to say I changed my mind, her latest rant left me angry to say the least. She took it upon herself to demean Huckabee, basically calling him "just another Democrat." Her outrageous comments used to amuse me, now that she’s using it to attack someone I support I now feel her usual targets’ pain.

An anti-Move.org ad was recently banned by Google, stating it was "copyright infringement." With all the tacky linkbait that floats around in their ads I have to laugh at that statement. We’re dealing with an obvious defense of MoveOn, it’s not like they would remove an ad that attacked Fox News or Rush Limbaugh.  It’s no surprise, everyone knows of Google’s left wing nuttery. This is just one way for the search engine giant to show their loyalty and to block anyone that stands against it. What’s next Google?

"Lake of Fire" a documentary about abortion, is currently in limited release in the U.S. and is set to shock those that watch it. The movie takes a very clear look at abortion and tries to show equal arguments for both sides. It’s hard to argue for death however, the example given for abortion was a woman who tried to commit her own and died in the act. It’s the old "people will do it anyway" argument that doesn’t hold up. You don’t help kill someone’s enemy because they are going doing it anyway do you?

It’s interesting that Gore would receive the Nobel Peace Prize for creating a fear mongering documentary and his so called "work" against "global warming." They might as well have given the award to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his "efforts to stabilize the middle east." Gore is in good company, joining Jimmy Carter and Yasser Arafat. What a prideful moment for Gore, his well formed propaganda has been memorialized by an organization that hands out awards that mean absolutely nothing.
