Hillary’s Chances of Winning are Slim.

For Hillary to have any chance of victory she would have to snag Ohio and Texas in March and Pennsylvania in April. While it’s completely possible it doesn’t seem very likely. Hillary is in essence banking on the “Giuliani strategy” which we all know failed miserably. The momentum that Obama has gained from his recent weekend sweep will carry him to the final states and inevitable to the parties’ nomination. Obama brings a sort of excitement to the Democratic party that Hillary can not even begin to achieve. If the Democratic party hopes to claim victory in the general election they will most definitely chose Obama for the job.
An Obama nomination will speak great troubles for the Republican party. Unlike Hillary, Obama does not mobilize the Republican party to the point of insanity. With their “JFK reincarnate” it is going to be an uphill battle for our nominee (who I’m sure will be McCain). When you add that to the discontent from conservatives you are left with a complication that may spell defeat. Hillary may have mobilized the Republican party to action; I imagine that the most liberator Senator in the United States will do the exact same thing. The Clinton name may make conservatives cringe they should be just as afraid of Obama the inexperienced liberal. We all must get passed the fact that McCain is not the perfect candidate. If we don’t we will all be hiding in bomb shelters as Obama is introduced as the next President of the United States of America.
The NYT are running an article on Thursday that states that the Clinton campaign admits things are only getting worse.
Clinton’s advisers acknowledged it would be difficult to catch up in race for pledged delegates even if she succeeded in winning 3 states on which she is most pinning her hopes: Ohio and Texas in March and Pennsylvania in April. Dem party’s rules would be decided obstacle in efforts to catch up to Obama before voting phase of nominating process ends later in spring…
It’s easy to think that this is a good thing. For the Republican party an Obama endorsement is far worse than a Clinton nomination. Hillary would inspire every single Republican to come out and vote no matter what they feel about McCain. McCain looks bad to a good amount of conservatives but compared to Clinton he is a very formidable choice. This isn’t to say that Obama won’t do the same. He may not carry the fame but his voting record is the most liberal in the country. From abortion to taxes Obama stands far above the rest when it comes to liberalism. When you top that with inexperience and the ability to inspire his party you are looking at a massive earthquake that we may not be able to stop.
