John Edward’s Endorsement of Obama Signals the end for Clinton.

What is the one thing that the Democratic party hates more than anything? Answer: a rich white man. Barack Obama, obviously black, has been anointed as the Democratic messiah but there’s one problem, he’s not white. Wait a minute, I thought being white and rich was the root of all evil? It is, but, they figured out that we vote too. The solution? John Edwards. Not only can he appeal to the white folks but he can also appeal to hair stylists nation wide. I mean, who else will pay those stylists $400 for a quick trim? I just hope we don’t see any John Kerry-John Edwards type moments.

The reason this is the final signal, rather than the Superdelegates, is because of the timing. You know that Edwards didn’t just decide last night to come out and endorse Obama. You can bet that there have been several long phone conversations and more than likely a meeting or two. Obama knew that he was going to get creamed in West Virginia so John Edward’s nomination was perfectly timed to take away Hillary’s victory. There is now talk about Edwards taking the VP spot and that just may be the best decision. Like I said before the Democratic party, specifically Obama’s campaign, is in need of the white vote that they have been neglecting this entire campaign not to mention for several years now. The question now is; Is Edwards the best choice?

It makes sense now as to why Edwards held out for so long. You can say that maybe he was waiting to make sure Obama was going to win before jumping the gun. You can also bring the fact that Edwards dropped out quite a bit ago, perhaps leaving Obama to take the reigns. It’s very clear now that Hillary Clinton doesn’t have a chance at grabbing the nomination. Some have been hoping for a “dream ticket” with Clinton as VP but that is highly unlikely. Now with Edwards back in the picture speculation is starting to fly around. I have to say that I could see John Edwards taking the VP spot. I don’t see how he could help much considering it didn’t exactly work last time.
