What is the point of a blog? Is it just a place to listen someone’s one sided opinions on any given topic? Maybe it’s more than that. I personally believe this site is more than a couple of opinion pieces. More than political fluff. Something with substance–something worth reading.

I’ve recently decided to take The Daily Conservative in a new different direction. Instead of joining the thousands of other people that simply quote the news and sprinkle it with a little opinion I decided to create something with a little more substance–a little bit of spice. This has brought upon the series “Politics and the new Media” and most recently, “Lessons in Liberalism.”

My latest series “Lessons in Liberalism” is set in that tone. Not all of my future articles will be satire but they will make you think, laugh and debate. I hope you like where TDC is headed. I’m always looking for ways to improve every aspect of the blog for only one reason; to entertain and educate you the reader.

I encourage you to get involved. Leave a comment, send in a suggestion, or even argue with me. Without your input I have no idea when I am doing something right or something wrong. My mission is to represent conservatism in every aspect that I can. While I’m doing that I hope that you are enjoying the show. Thank you for you making me a part of your day.
