The Debate Will Go On

After all the brouhaha made by McCain over the country’s current financial situation, suspending his campaign and calling off Friday’s debate, has decided to go through with the debate after all. I could have guessed it was going to happen this way. McCain comes out the hero in both ways because he took the initiative on solving the bailout issue and also went to the debate like so many were hoping for.

The debate is going to mean a lot for the undecided voters. While I think they’re undecided because they simply don’t like what they see, some people don’t know who to vote for yet. It seems like such a simple decision to me. When you’re talking about the differences between McCain and Obama you need a couple pieces of paper. You also need another set of papers to cover how many problems neither of them will fix.

Like typical politics today I don’t expect much substance out of tonight’s debate. The only thing Americans seem to notice these days is flag pins and negative ads. It’s the nature of humans I suppose. We don’t enjoy the positive nearly as much as the negative. We’ll vote for the one that stumbles the least. Doesn’t make much sense does it?

So, I hate to seem like I’m polling you all to death but you seem to vote more than comment. I’d love for you to comment as well but it’s a nice way to see what my readers are thinking. If you are tired of the polls just pass them by, no harm will be done.
