Great job Ashley. Just a couple days ago barely anyone knew who you were. You definitely weren't known on the public scale that you are now. What's wonderful is that you are now the poster person of conservatives in America. In the last weeks of an election the last thing we need is someone to come out and pull a stunt like this. The worst part for me is that I defended this buffoon! Forgive me for my moment of naivete. Whatever the case this lady has some serious mental issues.
Not only did she lie, she blamed an imaginary black man and said he did it because she was a McCain supporter. While there has been actual cases of violence this election it is disturbing for someone to make up such a story. What were you thinking? Did you just wake up one day and realize that you haven't humiliated yourself on a nation scale yet in your life and needed to get started? Congratulations, you will always be known as the nut job that reached national publicity by beating yourself up and blaming an imaginary black man.
Ashley Todd, 20-year-old college student from College Station, Texas, admitted Friday that the story was false and was being charged with making a false report to police, said Maurita Bryant, the assistant chief of the police department's investigations division. Police doubted her story from the start, Bryant said.

"They just started talking to her and she just opened up and said she wanted to tell the truth," Bryant said.
Bryant said it doesn't appear that anyone else put the woman up to the false report.
Police suspected all along that Todd might not be telling the truth, starting with the fact that the "B" was backward, Bryant said.
"We have robbers here in Pittsburgh, but they don't generally mutilate someone's face like that," Bryant said. "They just take the money and run."
Again, sorry for being so foolish on this whole ordeal. My conscience did not serve me well. I had this crazy idea that no one could be this stupid. What a foolish mistake that was. I didn't think someone would ever make up a story that someone beat her up just to get attention and look like a moron when everyone found out it was false. She didn't even cut the B right! What a doofus! It's a shame really. She is the racist white Pennsylvanian that the country will now point to as a typical Republican. Hope you're proud of yourself.
