So while Obama is running around spreading the wealth it’s important to note the times this has been tried before and has failed. Every time a country slips into socialism it becomes deep in corruption and greed. Once we transfer from America to a socialism our economy is going to come crashing down. Unlike other socialistic countries we don’t have oil as an export to keep us running. So while Obama is touting socialism his failure to support any sort of financial leverage reveals his foolishness. If we want to become a shining example of a nation like Cuba we might want to find a way to afford things like their wonderful health care system. Obama doesn’t get a blank check. Even though President Bush thinks he does.

Citizens of Zimbabwe know that “spreading the wealth” doesn’t work as wonderfully as Obama hopes it will.

Sitting at the kitchen table in the couple’s apartment in Ayden, Helen remembers vividly what happened next. Two Mazda pickups, bristling with armed police, were waiting for her. Their leader snatched the gate’s keys from the employee and turned to Helen.

The Herbsts prided themselves on the relationships they formed with their black employees, many of whom worked with the family for years. The couple had provided a pre-school on the property for workers’ children, and a free health clinic where mothers could take their babies. Wally had hoped that his family’s longstanding ties to the area would spare his farm from seizure.

Universal Health Care is not the answer.

Health care in Canada and the UK evidence of the strain and problems with socialized medicine.

That’s where everybody is — you know, “We’ve got to have healthcare, healthcare is unaffordable in America. The Canadians, the Canadian healthcare system, that’s fantastic.” Really? You know the guy who designed the Canadian healthcare system now admits that it’s in a crisis? The guy who designed the Canadian healthcare system says it’s in a crisis and he’s now advocating private control of much of the system and we’re going towards that? What the heck is wrong with us? He said, “We thought we could resolve the system’s problems by rationing services or injecting massive amounts of new money into it.” This is the guy who created the Canadian healthcare system. “We thought we would solve the problems by rationing services.” Oh, that’s fantastic. I love rationing healthcare. He now says it means a radical overhaul. “We’re proposing to give a greater role to the private sector so people can exercise their freedom of choice.”

Meanwhile in the U.K., the U.K. is restricting access to the use of drugs it knows it will work because the U.K. can’t pay for them. There is a drug out, Tarceva, I think it is. It’s for lung cancer. Listen to this. “Despite numerous studies showing that the drug significantly prolongs the life of cancer patients and the unanimous endorsement of lung cancer specialists throughout the U.K., the government has determined that a drug is too expensive to cover.”

Even with the failure of socialized medicine and the ailments socialism brings Barack is happily talking about his plans to spread the wealth. He made the remark to our friend Joe and has failed to retract his words. Why would he? Considering Biden thinks wealth redistribution is fairness why would Obama retract what he truly believes? The one true statement McCain made at the last debate was a gaffe. “Senator Government.” When you give the government too much, control corruption is just around the corner, waiting to choke us all into submission. The problems at Washington are evident and they need to be straightened out. Pouring money on the dying economy at  a federal level is not the answer. Taking over private companies and practices to benefit the little man is not the answer. Let America be the capitalism it is. Yes, liberals hate capitalism. Yes, liberals hate free market systems. Perhaps that is why they hate America.

The reason socialism will fail in America is because it relies too heavily on the government. Please, name five things that the government does well. I’ll name two, tax and spend. That’s all they are good at—with exception to running the military. With the corruption running deep in the senate, greasing up bills to benefit individual corporation at the cost of our life savings, can we trust them with so much? Can we really trust them to control the market, banks and health care? Of course not. With all the paranoia towards the government it’s silly that people suddenly trust it with their lives and life savings. It all comes down to what America is supposed to be. Take socialism to socialist countries. We are a republic, we are for the people, we are not for just the few. Let people spend their money how they want and let them keep it all. Don’t spread the wealth and don’t punish success.
