What happens when a news anchor does a fantastic job and asks Biden the tough questions no one else will? First, take a look at the interview. Kudos to Barbara West on a job well done.

What a zinger of an interview! God bless you Barbara for finally asking real questions. What’s interesting is how the Obama campaign reacted. They reacted just how you would suspect. The ran away with their tail between their legs and banned the station from further interviews.

Biden so disliked West’s line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate’s wife.

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was “a result of her husband’s experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West.”

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, “When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes.”

Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.

“Mr. Biden didn’t like the questions,” Jordan said. “We choose not to ask softball questions.”

Jordan added, “I’m crying foul on this one.”

What a bunch of cowards! If you can’t handle these real questions than you don’t need to be running for president. The most disturbing part? Biden didn’t answer the last question. He simply dodged it. “What do you say to the people who are concerned that Barack Obama will want to turn America into a socialist country.. much like Sweden?” Biden waffled, “I don’t know anybody who thinks that except the far right wing of the Republican Party.” The most amusing part is his facial expressions during the interview.

At the start of the interview before he realized he was going to get real questions.

First he’s asked about ACORN and of course he says Obama never had anything to do with them. He’s starting to realizing he’s dealing with a tough cookie.

“But Obama has been a community organizer for ACORN.. he has fought for them in the Senate.” Nuh uh says Joe.

“Isn’t the ‘spread the wealth around’ comment a crushing political blunder.” ‘Fairness Joe’ says absolutely not of course.

Zinger: “Isn’t Barack Obama basically a Marxist?” “Are you joking? Is this a joke? Is that a real question?… He is not spreading the wealth around..” Yet.

“I’m done laughing, time to get serious, Lord Obama is counting on me.”

    marx

“You said that the world is going to be tested.. expecting people to trust in an untested Obama..” “Who’s writing these tough questions!” Whines Biden.

    end

“What do you say to the people who are concerned that Barack Obama will want to turn America into a socialist country.. much like Sweden?” Biden waffled, “I don’t know anybody who thinks that except the far right wing of the Republican Party.”

    “Bye Joe”
