The Economic Case Against Obama

You know the left’s philosophy on government spending. The more the merrier. If there’s one political philosophy that is more foolish than the rest it is definitely the liberal view on spending and taxation. If America was still following it’s constitution than you wouldn’t see such a shocking number when you look at our national debt. That’s not the case and Obama shouldn’t complain about Bush so much. Obama is looking to spend far more than Bush in his first four years than Bush would if he were president another ten.

Barack has come out full swing in support of a policy that can’t be described as anything but socialistic. Wealth redistribution is never an American method of fixing a problem. If you want to fix the economy let the businesses of America do so. To do that you have to allow them to hire more people and they can’t do that if they are being taxed too much. Keep the taxes low so they can get out and hire more people. Obama’s silly plan to give out tax credits to businesses that create jobs is just a smoke screen. It’s like paying $60 for a soft drink and getting a $3 refund for drinking it.

For the simple minded Barack’s plan to flood the system with cash seem reasonable. But I want to know what pouring cash on a broken system will do? It will only elevate the problem. It’s the equivalent of dumping gasoline on a fire. You fix the system, patch the hole, kick out the corrupted and make it more efficient. The typical liberal idea of taxation and spending will be in full force if Barack gets into office. At this very moment congress is getting ready to hike your taxes in the event that Barack Obama wins the election. Get ready to feel the pain.

So it comes down to this: do you feel like you pay enough taxes? Since the government has already taken so much of our money do you think they are doing a great job with it? Please, make a list of ten things the government does better than privately owned businesses and charities. The fact of the matter is that the government is a black hole that will not be stoppable under democratic control. When the left reigns, out of control spending is the heroine of the so-called law makers that are supposed to be representing us. Instead, they sit up high on their pedestals and bailout corrupt businesses so they can go on vacations.

With the economy in shambles is it time to tax us more? Don’t be selfish, I understand how it feels to be poor and need help from time to time. The temptation to demand that the government take care of us is a strong one. You have to realize that the money isn’t going to come from Wall Street, it won’t come from Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi, it will come from your fellow citizens that just happen to be more successful than you. Success should not be punished and it is dangerous to get into the state of mind that says otherwise.

Barack speaks a good game but you can look at history to see what happens when you tax people to death during a recession. Herbert Hoover thought it would be a great idea to raise taxes at one of the highest rates in American history. Because of such actions we quickly fell into a slump as the unemployment rate climbed and we suffered the great depression. Obama is going to repeat history if we allow him to become president.

Beyond the fact that Obama’s plans to spread the wealth will destroy our economy you also have to see that they are un-American. For countries like Cuba and Sweden it’s perfectly fine to punish the successful to benefit the no so fortunate. The core of America is it’s workers and the dream to become the best we can become. We aren’t a country that exploits the successful, we aren’t a country of the few but a country of every man. Giving every man the opportunity to become who they want to be. Not to be struck down when they reach that dream. On November 4th tell Obama that he can’t have your wealth or any one else’s.

Don’t believe Obama when he says he’s going to cut taxes on the middle class. It’s safe for him to say otherwise because most Americans are middle class but he’s also hoping they don’t look into his past to reveal the truth. Obama has a strong history of raising taxes every chance he gets. That also includes supporting a plan to tax people making as little as $40,000 a year. Considering Obama raised taxes more than 90 times do you think that he is suddenly going to lower your taxes? He opposes the Bush tax cuts that helped millions of small business owners and allowed them to hire more people. Obama’s taxing habit will not leave his side and there’s no doubt that we all will be hurting under his plans.

In conclusion it’s important for you to ask what is best for America. Should America be pushed into the next great depression? Do small business owners deserve to have crushing taxes and the inability to hire people when they need to? You may be too poor to care and I can almost understand that point of view. You are hurting and just want a little help. But you have to understand that if we punish the person who pays your salary he will have to let people go and that person may be you. The effect of high taxes on the rich will trickle down to you eventually. Taxing business owners excessively hurts us all in the end.

The estimated amount Obama plans to spend on his socialized programs?

    $1,200,000,000,000 ($1.2 Trillion).

Who wants to write the first check?
