The left hates Bush. He’s like their arch enemy. I don’t know what they would do without him. They definitely wouldn’t have any sort of leverage. Obama loves to bring up Bush’s name, even local politicians in my area throw the Bush name out on other Republicans. It’s really all they have. For the Democratic Party to talk about the current President more than themselves is quite pathetic. Clinton was a fairly popular president so why aren’t they praising his name? You see, without Bush and the economic failures that have presented themselves over the years they have nothing.

That’s because they have no success of their own to speak of. Congress has been controlled by the Democrats for the past two years and they’ve done absolutely nothing. If you want to know what it would be like with the Democrats in control take a look at our congress. They have a lower approval rating than President Bush! That’s an almost impossible feat but they have done it with ease and have even hit the single digit approval ratings. Ready for more of the same failure?

Barack Obama doesn’t want you to think about his party. He wants you to think about President Bush. Let’s forget the fact that McCain has often stood up against Bush. He wants you to remember that McCain is a Republican. That way you don’t look at his own party’s corrupted ways and inability to get anything done. Voting for a Republican may seem foolish with what Bush has done but it’s even more foolish to vote for a Democrat considering what their party has done. It’s like picking a broken foot over a broken hand. Their both broken!

I bring this up because I just saw an ad for a local candidate where it’s claiming the other guy is just another Bush soldier. He says, “look, he worked with Bush and did blah blah blah.” I’m not a qualified candidate I just want you to know the other guy is in the same party as Bush! Bush Bush Bush Bush. Blah blah blah. I’m really tired of hearing his name. It’s not 2000, it’s not 2004, it’s 2008! Look at a calendar! The Republican Party is not the party of President Bush anymore. If McCain loses I really hope they realize the tactics of Bush wasn’t very affective and it’s time to return to our roots. The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness without government involvement.

Certain people pushed the GOP until moderates like John McCain become the face of the party. Nonconservatives like President Bush came along and spent and taxed like a liberal and destroyed the reputation of the party. The party needs to bring it’s self back to what used to make it great. Low taxes and spending, the protection of all precious life, the right to privacy and the freedom to be who you want to be and most importantly the right to live without the government controlling our lives. Freedom is popular, if they stick to that message they can’t lose. Molding conservatives into liberal Republicans is not the way to win an election. Stick by our morals, standards and key American values and we will win this country back!
