America has made her decision and sadly her people have not decided with the route that we know is best for us. We fought tooth and nail for our morals and values and in the end we lost. Even more so the Republican Party has lost. They need to bring themselves together and realize the reason they have lost. They didn’t lose because they failed to attract young liberal voters. They lost because they lost their conservative way. Don’t fret, it’s not over, it has only begun.

It is not time to get sour. It is not time to turn up the hate on Obama. These last four years have left a bitter taste in all of our mouths. It is time to move on and begin to rebuild our movement. Our message of small government, low taxes and the American way must be focused on. We shouldn’t be looking at the situation with dismay. If we do that we will lose site of what really matters, the future. For the sake of our children we must rebuild and fight back.

Barack Obama has every right to celebrate tonight. The most liberal candidate to run for president was able to convince others otherwise. People in Pennsylvania voted for Obama even though he promises to cause millions of them to lose their jobs. Obama has time and again been against gun rights but people still cast their vote for him. He kept on the only issue that seems to matter to people this year and that is the economy. With President Bush in office he had a free ride right to the White House.

I wanted to write this type of article after the inevidable happened because I knew angry words are useless that this stage in the race. Even though I know that the plans Obama hopes to implement are the worst for our country I am positive things are going to be ok. In four years time we’re going to be looking at a country that we no longer recognize. My hope is that American realizes what went wrong and return to their conservative ways. Socialism is on the rise in America but so is freedom. Let’s fight for that freedom and save the country that we love.

It may sound upserd to you but complete Democratic control is the best way for people to realize how wrong their ideas are. Obama was successful because he was hopeful in a time of despare. No one wanted to listen to McCain tell you that we have rough times ahead and that Americans will have to work hard. They settled for Obama because he was telling them it was their time and that we was going to hand them the finished product without the work. If you were down and out which would you choose? The route that required hard work or a free ride? It’s a long way from Kennedy’s urging to “ask not what your country can do for you.”

My fellow conservatives I want to urge you to come along with me. Set asside your anger and use that energy to revitilize our party. We shouldn’t leave it to die in the fire. Let’s stand up and get ready for these next four years. Just because the Democratic Party has taken control doesn’t mean that we should let them do what they please without a fight. I promise to always bring light to the things that the conservative movement cares about. I really hope you come along with me. The more the merrier and the stronger the fight we can put forth.
