Pray, Vote and Wish for the Best

Today is the day. Enough talking about why Obama shouldn’t win. It’s time for America to decide where it wants to go. Will it choose McCain and fight to preserve and uphold our constitution or will they go for Obama and his plan to destroy and rewrite those great papers? I have poured my heart out over the past year and there’s not much left to say. All that is left to do is to get out and vote like our country counts on it.
For me, tonight will be very emotional. Not because I expect my pick to lose but because I really have poured my life into this blog. I have been without work for the past few months and have used that time to build this site up from nothing. I watched it grow bit by bit each month and I’m very proud of how things have turned out. I want to thank you for sticking with me throughout these times. It means a lot to me.
I hope I have inspired some of you out there. I know that hope is running thin for my fellow conservatives but I want you to cheer up. Ronald Reagan taught us to believe in the greatness of our country and her people. They may choose to stray off into socialism and they may burn our flag but we will carry on. America will make it through four years of an Obama administration. We have done all that we could to save this great nation. It is now in the hands of everyone of you.
I urge you to get out and vote today. Do not listen to the exit polls. Do not listen to any premature predictions. Go and cast your vote. The tallies will speak for themselves. There’s no reason to give up now. At the end of the day you will have done all that you could. We’re not ACORN, we don’t have mickey mouse on our side but we have patriotic Americans fighting with us. Today is the day we fight tooth and nail until the sun sets.
When all is said and done I will pray for whoever wins. I will pray different prayers depending on who wins but they will mostly be the same. I will pray for the protection of our great nation. For God to bless each and everyone of us and to watch over our next president. To guide his heart, to show him wisdom and to direct him in the right direction. That he may do what is right for America and her citizens. I will also pray deeply for the unborn, our heroes in Iraq and abroad and of course my family and yours. That’s all we really can do at this point. Pray for the best.
