One thing is usually true about the blogosphere: we talk about news the MSM ignores. This hasn’t been the case when it comes to Barack’s citizenship. The majority of right-wing bloggers are so unwilling to discuss this issue that I was banned from LGF just because I mentioned it. IMAO says it’s no big deal and the rest of the internet just ingores the facts. I opened my email this morning to find a newletter from Townhall talking about Obama’s citizenship. Interesting, they won’t talk about it out in the open they have to send their subscribers a little note behind the public’s back.

Everytime I discuss this I see people rolling their eyes in the crowd. “Who cares, it doesn’t really matter.” I guess they have a point. No one obeys the constitution any more. After so many years of creating powers beyond constitutional boundries and doing as they please I’m not surprised the government is ignoring something as silly as citiz enship. The constitution states that only a natual born citizen can be president. Is he a natual born citizen? We will probably never find out.

Proving ones citizenship is rather easy. I could scan my birth certificate and show it to you within minutes. Barack Obama has refused to produce a valid birth certificate. The only article produced was a certification of live birth which is not the same. This should be a non-issue. When John McCain was questioned he quickly released all of his papers. When Obama was pressed he released an inadequate certification of live birth that lacked complete information and a raised seal. When pressed further the state of Hawaii refused to release his official copy because it wasn’t requested for positive reasons.

Does America care if Obama is legally allowed to be president? Would Obama’s supporters care? No matter who you support, or what party you affiliate with, you should agree that we need to follow the constitution. The suspicious behavior from the Obama camp is alarming. We simply want Barack to hand us his vaulted birth certificate. What is it going to hurt? If he proved his citizenship we can move on from this issue. Instead, Barack’s lawyers continue to block every effort to force him to prove his citizenship.

With all the conspiracy nuts in the world you would think this would catch some steam. Unlike conspiracy theories this has solid evidence and can’t be denied by anyone. The simple truth is that Obama has not proven his citizenship. We all should be able to agree that the president-elect needs to be an American citizen. You can’t take out the parts of the constitution you don’t like to benefit one person. The atmosphere in America has turned for the worse and this one peice of pie.
