The Peanut Gallery

There’s always someone in the background screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs asserting that they have all the answers. The Republican Party has become America’s peanut gallery. They had eight years to put conservative policies into effect and they failed to do so on most accounts. Now that they have failed people are getting tired of hearing the nagging and whining from the party that got very little done. Why would anyone listen to them now? They had all those years to get things done but they didn’t.
That’s what I see when I read all the popular conservative blogs out on the internet. I do my best to bring answers rather than just complaints. If you look around all you’ll see is a bunch of people complaining. What do you all expect? Now that the GOP has failed to represent conservative America they have been kicked to the curb. Instead of holding this party responsible they have set their eyes on Obama. We have to fix our own problems before going after anyone else.
As soon as the sentence was delivered and everyone realized that John McCain was not going to be president different excuses started to surface from different corners of the GOP and it’s members. Some blamed Palin, some blamed McCain; I blame the GOP leaders entirely. The same people that insisted we elect moderates such as McCain bailed when he was finally made the front runner for the party. They wanted to appease the left, there was no way that McCain would lose with the independent vote. Guess what, we still lost.
When you have a field full of sheep that has become infested with wolves you will soon have just a field full of wolves. The GOP has to decide where it wants to go these next four years. Will we sit back and complain or will we take responsibility and repent of our political sins? The GOP cannot be the peanut gallery that it has effectively become. We must put solutions into action. We cannot whine and complain like those on the left do. Present solutions, put them forth and then you have the right to complain.
My point is this; we must present solutions and then act upon them. We can no longer complain about illegal immigration and elect officials that do nothing about it. We can no longer complain about the pork barrel spending and continue to vote in those stuffing the bills with big fat slices of bacon. The public cries out and complains about our situation and their solution is to vote in the same old politicians that are causing the problems in the first place. If you are tired of your house flooding maybe you should relocate away f rom the hurriccane zone? It’s not very smart to build you house where an active valcono is. Then again, this is America we’re talking about. Land of the free? Maybe it’s land of the foolish? It is if we don’t get our act together.
