Yes, I watched the video you put up on your forums on Obama citizenship before you deleted them. What I don’t understand is why McCain never says anything, it is almost as if he is trying to lose. Of all the suspicion behind Barack Obama you would think he would say something. Between Jeremiah Wright, and Obama’s background McCain should be all over it. Seriously, I think McCain is a closest liberal.

McCain has flip flopped so many of his policies that it makes me doubt the sincerity of his campaign. For instance the San Francisco Chronicle in August 1999, McCain explained, “Certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade, which would then force X number of women in America” to be subject to “illegal and dangerous operations.

Sweden is world leading competitive country with right-wing coalition government and open democratic system.

It is extremely arrogant from anyone to say “a socialist country.. much like Sweden”. Yes, we have working health care, free education, and reasonable social security as well as the leading positions in all areas of world economical development and competition surveys.

Is that what you call socialism… to live in country that gets better that USA?

I could as well say “bankrupted and failed country … as USA”

How uneducated can someone be to asking something like that?

If he worked around it we don’t know how. He’s acting so suspicious, refusing to produce a legitimate birth certificate is a huge red flag. Maybe he’s a naturalized citizen, which would permit him to be a senator but not a president. It’s not unreasonable to think when his mother flew over here that some strings were pulled to make it seem like he was born here. It’s a problem because his grandmother says otherwise and he doesn’t seem to have a real birth certificate.

Patrick, I work for the US Government and we are required to meet criteria and provide a LOT of personal information, including a birth certificate, to get a security clearance to work here. I can imagine that Senators and Presidents must also meet these simple rules to get access to the information they are privy to. So how did manage his way around that? Is there a way to contact that ‘dept’ or to find out if he holds a secret clearance?

Well, looks like another Susan Smith story–another woman claiming a black man attacked her. This episode underscores the racial divide in this country. From Susan Smith claiming a black man carjacked her car when she was driving it and rode away with the kids to this woman claiming a black man assaulted her and brutally carved a backwards “B” on her face, it goes to show that black men are loathed and feared in this country by many.

She was wrong for making a false report–precious police man hours were taken off the street to investigate this baloney!

And if you jumped to conclusions before hearing all of the facts, you were wrong for believing her story.

Yeah, sorry, she’s just some attention seeker. I’m sorry for the commercial establishment (the Bank in this case). It hurts their business and will take up a large part of their employee’s normal day. If there was some attack it would show up on the security cameras. There is apparently a discrepancy between her story and the bank records — there should be a record of her ATM transaction at the time she reported. I’ve seen both sides of the political street victimized like this. From a bad student who blames his ‘liberal’ college teacher for bad grades, to someone claiming their ‘ultra-conservative’ parents kicked them out of the house because they were gay (only to find the parents did no such thing!). There are people who go from scam to scam… sometimes for money and a place to stay for free, and sometimes just for some sick need for attention. Live long enough and you see it all. This is sad but hardly surprising.

You “highly doubt” this is false? You may want to post some updates; although this is an actual photograph, it was taken by the alleged victim. the police are asking her to take a polygraph test because none of the evidence indicates a crime.

Mr. Britton –
My blog is for a college class. I don’t have ready access to the internet so for this particular assignment my work was done with last-minute haste in a less-than-academic atmosphere. I’m not writing your blog off to a single article or tag line. The assignment was to link and briefly discuss two political blogs and why I chose them. I chose yours mostly because of those particular stories, the latest ones, as well as your position as “just a guy” or what have you. Frankly the content is none of my concern, for my analysis is going to be about the way in which your arguments are made. The posts could be about anything in the world, I’m just looking at the structure. Don’t take it personally — I certainly never meant to offend you. Like I said, we had to choose two blogs and I’ve never done anything bloggish before at all. And honestly, I didn’t think my blog was open to the public. At any rate, your blog hardly lacks content and I do apologize for over-simplifying. Also, I misspoke about Joe the Plumber. Chalk it up to hasty wording – I did not mean to imply so strongly that you hate Joe as a person but rather the incessant media coverage and sudden fame which followed his question and eventually became something of a distraction from rather than a reinforcement of the discussion of the policies in question. “…you would think he is running for president himself,” and “…the evil amount that will get taxed under Obama. That is what the left doesn’t want to discuss and that is why they are digging up dirt on poor Joe instead of explain why they want to spread his wealth around.” Again, I wasn’t summing up your blog, just mentioning the article and features that attracted me and led me to my choice. This was by no means the final analysis.
P.s. Until three minutes ago I had NO idea what a plurk was. I’m not a blogger. I actually hate these things; I only have one because of this class I’m taking. The assignment was completed in a hurry. If you’d like, I can find another to use for my analysis. I certainly didn’t think it’d be a big deal, though I now realize your passion for politics.

Chuck Baldwin is an awesome candidate. You don’t have to plug your nose at all and you can be proud to vote for such a strong Conservative and Constitutionalist. He is the candidate of the century. The ONLY one firmly committed to bringing our country back to its roots in the constitution.

We are heading down a road into open Socialism, we need a leader that has the courage to fight the powers that control our country and elect an American Patriot that has vowed to correct the Unconstitutional stranglehold of the IRS, private banker’s Federal Reserve that has been enslaving the middle class in never-ending debt and inflation. There is no big wow in this endorsement. Gen. Powell has really played both sides of the fence anyhow, so I think he is just trying to be on the right side, so to speak. Also, when Gen. Powell announced that he was a Republican in 2000, I really do not remember what his reasons were. Did he believe in basic Republican principles? Interesting.

I really liked McCain’s performance, very funny and self-deprecating, and I wanted to see more of this side to McCain. I thought Obama’s was grey, didn’t hurt or help him, and didn’t make me want to vote for him. (If I was leaning that way at all)
