Dingy Harry’s Approval Rating Lower Than Rush’s

Proving that the lower keep getting lower, Harry Reid’s approval ratings in his home state have fallen to 32%. Rush Limbaugh’s approval rating, in Nevada, is at 34%. The poll, a recent Review-Journal poll, shows another dimension to the problem for the Democrats. The left is always glad to share President Bush’s low approval ratings but always seem to forget their even lower ratings.

The White Flag Democrats’ Latest Scheme: A War "Surtax".

1murtha_redeploy The latest from the “surrender now” Democrats is a ingenious scheme. Three top House Democrats are proposing a “war surtax” to fund the war and burden the tax system. Democratic leadership say they’ll oppose any spending bills that don’t include a plan to end the 4-year-old conflict. Under this surtax proposal, taxpayers would have to pay extra taxes, ranging from 2% to 15% based on income which is designed to raise $140 billion a year for the conflict.
