Proving that the lower keep getting lower, Harry Reid’s approval ratings in his home state have fallen to 32%. Rush Limbaugh’s approval rating, in Nevada, is at 34%. The poll, a recent Review-Journal poll, shows another dimension to the problem for the Democrats. The left is always glad to share President Bush’s low approval ratings but always seem to forget their even lower ratings.
Senator Craig needs to just go home and call it quits. No matter the truth behind what happened the fact remains that you pleaded guilty, I’m sorry that you seem to regret doing so but you need to stop embarrassing yourself and your party and just call it quits.
Reading the headline may be misleading. The Democrats recently tried to up the schip program to cover more children. We’re talking about a $35 billion dollar addition for ‘low income’ children. That comment is misleading, I highly doubt that this bracket is ‘low income’.

The latest from the “surrender now” Democrats is a ingenious scheme. Three top House Democrats are proposing a “war surtax” to fund the war and burden the tax system. Democratic leadership say they’ll oppose any spending bills that don’t include a plan to end the 4-year-old conflict. Under this surtax proposal, taxpayers would have to pay extra taxes, ranging from 2% to 15% based on income which is designed to raise $140 billion a year for the conflict.
